Hello my lovelies, welcome back to another instalment of On My Vanity. This is my favorites series here on To Style, With Love as I get to try out loads of new and exciting beauty products and also share with you all what I love, like and feel well ehh about (but mostly what I adore). Today I am showing you all the Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet and yes they are as yummy as they sound. First, let me tell you a little bit about what I learned about the product. The Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet lipstick is a new statement-making matte cream colour with a “comforting whipped texture.” The product was developed with a new, innovative formula which combines rich pigment, smooth application and a creamy texture to “create a bold velvet finish that lasts for up to eight hours.” I even did a little test for you all and I wore the Oxblood Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet the other day while out shooting blog photos and it really did last. I even ate a poke bowl and had a coffee while wearing the lipstick without touching up. I won’t lie and say that the lipstick was completely opaque after all of this and over about 6 hours (with eating and drinking) it did fade a bit but the colors pigment was stained on my lips and most of the product remained leaving a remaining put together look.
I was pleasantly surprised with the velvet and creamy texture of the Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet lipsticks in all three shades. They were incredibly opaque, I am talking one swipe application is all you will need and that works for BOTH LIPS! Is that not what we are all looking for in a lipstick, uhm I think so. And another thing to note is that if you are truly looking for a matte liquid lip these are incredibly matte from the start, there is no dry down waiting for matte, no initial sheen, nothing — they are immediately the creamy velvet matte that is advertised on the bottle. With all of these factors the results are definitely a 10/10 and the color FAWN has become my new everyday go to. I simply can’t get enough of the Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet, what do you dolls think?
