Happy Monday, as happy as a monday can be to all of you lovely readers! I am having a pretty lovely Monday as I am still out in Europe traveling around and today seeing the sights. There is truly no shame in being a bit of a tourist, especially when in another country on another continent! We devoted a day in London to wandering around and taking in all of the majestic sights that the city has to offer. In fact many of London’s most well known attractions are within walking distance to each other with just a stone’s throw through Hyde park you can get right from Buckingham Palace to Parliment and Big Ben in no time.
On this day I wanted to wear comfier shoes obviously as we would be walking all over town so instead of a boring sneaker I went for my new Public Desire velvet ankle boots which were perfect for the transitional fall weather. Since London is notoriously gloomy, cloudy, rainy and a tad chilly I mixed my deep cut gold Are You Am I slip dress with a trusted black turtleneck for warmth and layered my Chanel CC Logo Pearl necklace over it for a little added sparkle. And as we all know you can never go wrong with a little touch of Chanel. Don’t feel shame in acting like a typical tourist, it’s worth it for more than the photos alone. It’s worth feeling the true British heritage and learning about all of the history. Not only that but these are some incredibly beautiful places to see and spend some time while you are abroad. You’ll be surprised at just how many londoners you’ll actually see there too. I mean think about it, we all go see art galleries and show our friends exhibitions so what’s the difference in doing the same thing and exploring another country too.
