Seeing Spots For Spring

DSC_0534_edit

I am seeing spots everywhere I go, not really and not literally but in a way I guess you could see it like that!  With spring being officially here all of our favorite prints are rolling back around the corner and into our everyday wardrobe lives again.  For me on this particular day it happens to be this leopard print Carven skirt that I paired with an oversized vintage cricket sweater and my  new Public Desire ankle boots.  You see the only print for spring does NOT have to be floral!  To quote the great Miranda Priestly,”Florals for spring? How groundbreaking.” And if she doesn’t know it all then who does!  Just because it’s trendy and in every magazine does not mean that you have to follow the status quo!  And I think that a lot of designers are following the lead of old timers like Dolce and Gabbana such as Diane Von Furstenberg, Kate Spade, Saint Laurent and even Isabel Marant are following the lead and trying to start a new trend.  A trend to bring out the animal in all of us!  When it comes to fashion I always try to think outside of the box and do something different than everybody else or simply what is expected of me.  So this spring I dare you to try on some animal spots and bring out your inner Cheetah Girl and become a Cheetah Sista! (If this reference confuses you please google it immediately to change your whole life!)
