Well my loves, we finally made it. We made to one of Revolve’s famous, over the top and of course aesthetically pleasing parties! We all know Revolve is known for the throwing the most amazing blogger trips and parties so it was only a matter of time before I got myself invited to one. This past week Revolve threw a party in celebration for the launch of Alexis Ren’s new athletic line known as R E N in special collaboration with Revolve. The party was thrown at the adorable Revolve Social Club on Melrose in West Hollywood which doubles as various pop up shops but, is usually a faux store front. Alexis Ren has teamed up with the Revolve team to create a practical athletic line that doubles as incredibly chic athleisure wear. Athleisure is a huge trend right now so it is no surprise that one of the top models in the world right now and the babes at revolve would capitalize on it. For those of you who don’t know athleisure (combining athletic and leisure wear) is basically what women have been doing for years with their workout wear but it is now acceptable and plus it has a cute name. All sorts of brands and athletic lines are now creating fun and fashionable athleisure wear for those casual sporty days. I myself have been a huge fan of sportswear for quite a while. Whether it was a new sports bra, a white American Apparel tennis skirt, or Adidas originals making a huge comeback, sportswear has slowly but surely been integrated into my wardrobe. So I am here to tell you that you no longer need to feel underdressed or embarrassed for wearing athletic wear when you aren’t even intending on working out. They are so much comfier than normal clothes, especially the sports bras, which offer much better support without having a wire digging into you all the time. They’re also usually cheaper than normal bras – click for info on prices and designs. We should be able to take advantage of the comfort without having to work out. So just simply explain to people.. “oh, you don’t know, it’s athleisure.”
We walked into the Revolve social club and were immediately surrounded by pink and white tiles to literally great us and say hello, blush suede seating and of course the R E N collection. The social club is actually three stories tall, including a rooftop patio, and every single inch of the place is aesthetically pleasing from head to toe and basically one huge step by step photo op as you will see in this post. We headed to the second floor where we met the lovely Alexis Ren for a photo op in front of her customized REVOLVE X REN neon light and honestly she was such a sweetheart! We moved on after that to the rooftop, of course stopping for 0 photos in the gorgeous stair well . . . IKR did I mention it has a pink marble wall and some more aesthetic neon lights with the cutest quotes???? We made our way on to the roof for nibbles, a dj and the views of the Hollywood Hills you can only dream of. Long story short, Revolve is and was a dream as expected.
For my look I obviously wore some Revolve garments to the Revolve social club! I paired this incredibly chic Parker top with an attached choker with a funky denim skirt by GRLFRND (A brand I am obsessed with right now). The denim skirt is embroidered with both red roses and red peppers! I just think that is the cutest idea ever and reminds me of flames and the idea of trendy smoking hot. I’m not even sure if that makes sense but those are the words that come to mind when I look at the embroidery on this skirt. For shoes I wore my new Zara red sock boots. I saw these on another blogger and ran to the Zara site to purchase a pair immediately. The sock boot trend was obviously started by Vetements but in recent season has been completely perfected by Balenciaga in a way that makes my heart melt. Sooo when I saw this 70$ inspired pair they had to be mine! For the bag I grabbed my ever so chic and dependable Chanel blue velvet crossbody bag that I wore on my shoulder with only the essentials, perfect for party wear. And last but not least I had to wear my faux bang and a cute lil bun for a super high fashion look. Just goes to show how easily you can change your entire look.
