Hello lovely readers and welcome to Old Portsmouth. Portsmouth being one of the largest cities in England and right there nestled beautifully on the sea side. It also happens to be the birthplace and original home of my love so we took a few days out of our trip and drove an hour outside of London to visit his hometown. While it’s one of the larger cities in England it’s really not a huge city, especially when you’re used to Los Angeles and New York. But the sea side was beautiful and everything about it truly had the atmosphere you would expect. From old war ships commemorating in the harbor, a few classic red telephone booths and even some old forts from way back in wartime. They are no longer used as forts but instead have been turned into little escapes on the Portsmouth beach, you can even walk up on top to their lookouts and take in the view of the harbor. In case you’re curious of what that large pointed tower is in the background of a few of the photos, it’s the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth Harbour. The tower is meant to represent a sail to commemorate Portsmouth’s maritime history.
As it was just a casual day wandering around Old Portsmouth and taking in all the history I decided to break in my new Re-Done jeans. I had also just picked the absolute most chic little lace layered tshirt from Zara. Very Kendall Jenner esc and I must say on this trend she is spot on, I am LOVING the lace. Especially for those of us who are a tiny bit chestier and can’t wear a normal little lace bralet as a shirt, this gives us all the best of both worlds. Since we were walking around my go to Gucci loafers were a must and my frail Southern California thin skin does need a nice leather jacket when being bashed with the harsh harbor winds in the middle of September, don’t mock me. Annnnd last but not least every outfit needs a knock out bag, and my new Pink Gucci GG Marmont is nothing less.
