Well my lovely readers, all the hubbub is over and I’m back in LA cuddled up in my bed blogging away whilst palm trees bask in the sun right outside my window. No more drawing the curtains on the upper east side of New York city and watching the snow and the rain then braving it to make it to all of the New York Fashion week madness. Yes, unfortunately we must come back down to Earth eventually but at least I get to relive it all by sharing with you lovely readers now that I have a moment to catch my breath and blog!
Day 2 of New York Fashion Week was I guess a bit less hectic than day 1, but who am I kidding I was still running around like a mad woman. We started the day off with a band at the Novis FW16 Presentation at Pier 59 which was in collaboration with Christian Louboutin so needless to say the shoe game was very very strong and matches all of Novis’ perfectly placed polka dots seamlessly. Then it was a shot over to Artbeam on West 21st for the Zimmerman runway show! I am such a huge fan of Zimmerman and was blown away by the lush textures and very pink vibes at their runway show. After this we had a break and took the excuse to run back uptown for hot chocolate and shopping on Madison avenue at Kate Spade, Prada, Alice + Olivia and more oh my! Okay then back to “work” after a quick outfit change and a dash downtown to the Chromat Runway show at Milk Studios and then back to Skylight at Moynihan Station for the Francesca Liberatore Show. By the end of the work day it was nearly 8:30 and I got to retire and go to one of my dear friends from New York’s birthday dinner. Then, guess what? We picked ourselves and did it all over again the next day, and I wouldn’t want to do anything else.
