Happy 4th of July my fellow patriots and foreign friends! It’s America’s birthday and our beautiful land is turning 240 today! We are a pretty young country in the scheme of things but for some of us, like me, our ancestors have been here for over 10 generations and we’re going strong! Even though I do have a thing for europeans and other foreigners today we are incredibly patriotic and truly proud to be Americans! If you haven’t noticed by now, yes, I am on a boat! Whether or not you want to start singing Andy Samberg’s Lonely Island song or if Will Ferrell singing Boats n’ Hoes in Step Brother’s comes to mind I of course could not stop saying little catch phrases from these two hits all day! And the answer is yes, everyone did eventually get annoyed of me.
Knowing me as you all do ever so well I had a long and deep thought about what I would wear on my little boat excursion with my friends. Did I want to go full out on a New England, Cape Cod sort of Jackie O and majorly preppy sort of look or did I want to go tumblr cool girl with an oversized tshirt, silk baseball cap with two braids in my hair, classic adidas and some kind of fit and flare skirt? This is how I picture myself doing activities, it is always by the look or the outfit if you will. Instead of going for a full “look” I just simply went with plain old me on the boat. The boat was really fun and I’ve even thought about getting a boat loan from boatfinancing.co to help me buy a boat. Who wouldn’t want to spend their time sailing away into the sunset on their very own boat?! It has always been a dream of mine and I would love for it to come true one day. I had such a good time when I was on this boat and it definitely re-ignited my passion for sailing! One of my friends that lives in Australia bought herself a boat from GraysOnline and it’s stunning! I’ve been sailing on her boat a couple of times and it always makes me jealous!! Anyway, back to my outfit! I paired my brand new Saint Laurent bag (please take a moment to squeal with me over how cute this thing is), my white Prada sandals, Acne Studios mustangs and just some of my everyday wear simple jewelry with my new starry eyed Reformation dress. The stars being absolutely perfect to salute our country on this very very historic day. Happy 4th of July!
