I was not such a hot child in the city last weekend in fact most of the time I was a cold child in the city. But, on one glorious afternoon running about downtown shooting and mostly screwing around with brilliant photographer Michael Donovan, mother nature gave us a glimpse of a perfect spring day. Even though it had been nearly 30 degrees the day before on this lovely day it was in the 60s with the sun shining bright and most importantly lovely enough to take off my giant fur coat that I had been clung to.
Incase you were curious, no I am NOT wearing enough Gucci! There is never enough Gucci! Okay, maybe there is but I haven’t seemed to reach capacity of my Gucci tolerance yet. This look came together first with the very in demand Gucci printed logo tshirt that I know you’ve seen everywhere you turn and so of course I was not going to be left out and I had to have it too! This t-shirt is easily paired with a variety of items from a simple pair of jeans to a cherry red leather mini skirt you can’t really go wrong! The red glossy tint of my mini skirt brought out the faded stripe in the t-shirt’s logo and from there it all really came together mixing the high end garments with the raw traffic and construction of the city, I always find that balance comes when you mix the highs and the lows. Because my outfit wasn’t extra enough I added my new vintage Gucci stripe belt that I found on depop annnnddddd (are you tired of my obsession yet?) my favorite favorite favorite go to booties the GUCCI pearl heel ankle boots. <Sigh> okay, I promise not to say Gucci again! Last but not least I styled this look with a pair of small net fishnet tights especially fitting with the trend I have been adoring this past season. I took my t-shirt in this look from being spotted on everyone to nearly unrecognizable with my fresh take on this trendy look. ~~ P.S I don’t really smoke, but anything for the aesthetic right?!
