Regardless of what you may have heard disco is NOT dead! Disco is BACK and becoming more alive than ever, in fact I have even attended one in the last week and my obsession is becoming ravenous! I love disco that much now, that I even contemplated hosting my own disco party. I’ve already started looking into who I want to play at this party. By doing a bit of research into something like DJ Cardiff, I think I’m onto finiding the perfect musical act for this disco party! I’ve got quite a bit left to think about, but if this goes ahead, this will be a night to remember. I think I may have caught disco fever and I wanted to make sure and keep you all updated with the latest trend. It’s not just me that has been bitten by the bug that transmits disco fever it has also infected many major trendsetters and influential designers such as Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and even Gucci just to name a few. If that didn’t catch your attention take a look at these photos and realize that embracing disco is basically making it appropriate to play dress up and for all of us fashion-obsessed that is how it all began.
Now that I’ve explained the phenomenon let’s get to business. Go grab a groovy slip dress or something covered in glitter, some major platform shoes with too many jewels of course and don’t forget to wear your most mod sunglasses all night long and indoors too(duh). Channel your inner Andy Warhol, Donna Summer and Anita Ward turn up the ABBA full volume and let your inner dancing queen out and be free! Oh, and don’t forget the blue eye shadow and too too much glitter all over your face! Who are we kidding you can never have too much glitter on your face!
