Oh yes I am having a ball here in London and today I am all in Love and decked out in all LV. By LV of course I mean the classic Louis Vuitton. Although Louis Vuitton is perpetually French in its roots and design LV has built a brand name that can be found as classic in any city, country state or status. A little bit ago I picked these monogram booties after they made their resurgence once again in the Louis Vuitton stores after being a huge hit at Nicholas Ghesquiere’s first runway show. The way Ghesquiere has brought back the monogram pattern is not only magical but also genius. It’s one of those patterns that all women dream of, the kind of pattern that evokes a sense of self confidence, reminds you of the hard work you’ve put in to earn a piece with this pattern, and let’s just face it… it makes you feel good about yourself because you got yourself a pretty damn nice piece of leather. Anyway, I find myself sidetracked but that just shows that even I still get distracted by the elegance and excitement that surrounds some classic LV.
As you all know I am spending some time in Europe traveling around with my love and I also couldn’t be anymore in LOVE with London. The city streets are lined with the most perfect and picturesque white row houses, occasionally decorated with a stunning red, blue or maybe even pink door. The whole city is a backdrop of exactly what you would expect and want to see with visiting England. I thought that my look was perfect for the day not only since the weather was nice I did not need a jacket but, since the are of the city we’re staying in has such a classic London vibe I felt my classic look with my classic LV was the perfect match for the day. We did some “window” shopping, which we all know led to real shopping, lunch and dinner of course and just some wandering around the city. It was truly a classic picture perfect day.
