The White Motel
Some call it The Bates Motel because of the sort of OCD paper, plastic, starc white atmosphere at The White Motel in Silver Lake. It’s not even just the motel that has been turned completely white it’s also the palm trees, the fence and even the floor/ground and have painted over with a matte white finish. If you’re a bit lost and confused let me clue you in on one of the newest trendy art installation, not in a gallery or museum but smack dab in the middle of Los Angeles for all to see and admire thanks to French artist Vincent Lamouroux. The White Motel was put in order in an attempt to sort of clean up the area and bring a better vibe than the previously run down and quite deteriorating motel was. Brightening up the city with art one landmark at a time.
Now to the really important stuff, the look. As you may be wondering, “Did she cut off all of her hair?” No I did not, this is indeed a faux bob done for me by my best friend is a much better hair aficionado than I am and perfectly suited my look for the day. I paired my new pieces from Never Fully Dressed for a Clueless esc look included this to die for feather bottom dress, my favorite Chanel flatforms and my perfect little Chanel pearl sunnies. And to make things even better don’t forget my blue velvet wallet on a chain.
A special thanks to Never Fully Dressed!
