I’m Knit Cold..

Fall-la-la-la-la-la, fall is my absolute favorite season, and not just because my birthday takes place in it.  When you’re sitting inside and it’s grey outside with a subtle cool breeze in the air I can’t help but feel filled with warmth.  My favorite thing to do during this time is cozy up inside with a mug of hot apple cider in one of my favorite oversized sweaters.  Can you believe Thanksgiving is in two weeks!?  I am anxiously awaiting the house being filled with food and laughter, the scent of cinnamon in

Photos Via Pinterest Happy Friday lovely readers, we made it to the weekend.. finally!  Every week we need to gather inspiration for whatever stylish fad we’re going to try out over the weekend so I put together this game plan for the coming weekend.  Dancing around on a Friday in 2014 sounds boring so let’s all pretend this weekend that its November 1974 and turn up the radio to dance around to The Bee Gees or Carly Simon instead.  The 60s/70s trend has been creeping up on us and I couldn’t help but purchase

Let’s Play… In Play by Comme des Garcon of course!  These early fall days are upon us and day to day I never know if it’s going to be hot or cold (the weather just can not make up its mind) so overalls are the perfect solution.  Layered underneath is my little obsession of Play by Comme des Garcon t-shirts — I became obsessed with these over the summer and so DUH, when I was in London I hit up Dover Street Market for some goodies, my mom couldn’t

Psychedelic Sunnies..

Sunnies: To Style With Love

Just because it’s fall doesn’t meant that the sun can’t shine like its July.  Here in Los Angeles it can look like it’s about 85 degrees and actually be 65 outside ( the sun is trying to trick us in to going to the beach).  The days of sunglasses being strictly for shielding your eyes from the lazors sent down by the aliens who live on the sun are long gone, sunglasses are not even only worn when it’s sunny anymore (see Kanye West or Anna Wintour for examples) they are

Happy Hallows Eve..

Happy Halloween everyone or as we “hipsters” call it Hallows Eve, the Day of The Dead is among us!  I’ve never been a big fan of the frightening but I am a fan of candy and playing dress up.  Something about Halloween brings out the child in all of us (well some of us are still children, whatever) but everyone can always use a little smile or a pep put in their step to help get in the spirit.  So to add that sparkle to your eye tonight here are my five favorite

[easyrotator]erc_69_1409095679[/easyrotator]   Denim shorts… this is a subject I struggle with, especially lately with their trendy resurgence I have been very torn as to whether or not I should purchase a pair.  I know, can you believe that?  I do not own a pair of denim shorts, one of the most common elements of really anyones wardrobe.  I have myself in a constant battle with this particular garment.  You see if worn incorrectly you can come off as well a very basic or very promiscuous girl.  I recently found myself

With my K’s on..

I’m up in the club (my backyard), high on LIFE, with no shades on!  Not tatted up ,but yes, mini skirt with my K’s on!  If you just got my reference kudos, and if not go listen to 23 by Mike Will Made It featuring Miley Cyrus, then come back and have a giggle.  Keds are a classic staple that my mom wore in the 90s with high waisted jeans and a pastel colored sweater set, which honestly as I am explaining that I’m realizing that sounds really cute.  Anyway,

Put on your Mom Jeans

[easyrotator align=”left”]erc_89_1405714518[/easyrotator] While fashion may be a game that is to be played seriously ,according to Karl Lagerfeld, however the industry is filled with humor.  It was just a few years ago that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler danced across our TV screens for snl’s “Mom Jeans” advertisement but flash forward a few years and every young fashionista on the block is toting a pair of vintage Levi’s high upon their waists. Personally I don’t necessarily believe in “trends” and I think that there is a big difference between being trendy

I Woke Up Like This..

Is the human race getting lazier and lazier or are we just getting exceedingly more clever?  Day by day people are looking for an “easier” way to do things from makeup and wardrobe to making a cup of coffee.  And now wearing your pajamas out in the world is even on trend.  Last spring we saw pajama sets being worn on the runways and now its time to slip into a chemise (or keep on the one you slept in) and head out for the night. Although our wardrobes are

Oh Old Hollywood how I do love thee.  Your streets were once filled with starlets dressed to the nines and down the road and up in the hills old school movie producers and directors sipped martinis next to the pool.  I don’t mean to be such a romantic but something about those old buildings just gives me a sense of magic in the air.  When frolicing through the streets of Old Hollywood one must wear an appropriate frock to pay homage to the history that once took place there.  As a fan of
